The goal of this job position is to oversee all financial matters of the company and serve as a business partner to the management.
Herausforderung
Compliance, Controls & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain robust internal control environment to safeguard company assets, enforce strict segregation of duties, review purchasing workflow and expense approvals to mitigate financial risk.
- Oversee the management of all property, plant and equipment (PPE), ensuring accurate tagging, tracking and recording of assets.
- Serve as the primary contact point for internal and external auditors regarding financial functions, financial records and physical assets verifications
Funds Management
- Ensure that funds are sufficient to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
- Manage the fund in accordance with the Group policy
Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget
- Prepare rolling financial forecast based on the updated production plan, manufacturing metrics and sales forecast
- Assist management in the formation of overall strategic direction
Cost Accounting & Inventory Control
- Own the reliability of the standard costing structure in the ERP system, ensuring that bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing routings, labor run-times, and overhead allocation rates are precisely maintained and regularly audited to reflect true operational costs.
- Oversee the internal controls for inventory including cycle counting and annual physical counting program
Management Reporting
- Manage the periodic closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Interpret the company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
- Track, analyse and dissect variances, and translating the deviations into reports that clearly explain the performance gap to management.
Cross-functional Partnership & Proactive Problem Solving
- Conduct regular financial reviews with department managers
- Work closely with department managers in translating monthly variance analysis into concrete operational action items and tracking their execution to ensure targets are met.
- Take ownership of financial anomalies and emerging financial risk by driving cross-functional collaboration with department managers and supporting their execution to execute corrective measures.
Other tasks that may be assigned by the General Manager and/or Financial Director Asia from time to time.
Qualifikationen
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Financial Management
- With at least 10 years of working experience in manufacturing set-up
- Strong financial and business acumen and ability to translate business problems into financial terms
- Proficiency in ERP system with strong Microsoft excel skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Working knowledge of accounting, tax and legal business operations
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Flexible and responsible for meeting tight deadlines
- CPA license will be an advantage
